User Reviews
Pros
- Intuitive, map-first interface with quick access to property data.
- Rich map layers, aerial imagery, and border outlines provide valuable real-world context.
- Valuable for real estate pros and inspectors in Wake County; integrates deeds and property/building information.
- Multiple search options and fast performance; avoids Flash issues on i devices.
- Updated for iOS 13 and ongoing improvements to maintain compatibility.
Cons
- Frequent crashes and instability, especially when using map layers or switching views.
- Updates regress core features (e.g., septic permit search) or cause search to stop working.
- Location/region errors and map loading problems (not in Wake County, gray maps).
- Crime data layer is missing or lacks details and police activity tools are hard to access.
- Search reliability is inconsistent (some searches yield no results; owner-name search can be biased or unhelpful).

I’m a septic inspector that used this app to pull up septic permits. With the new update I can no longer use this app

I can no longer find septic permits with the new update. I know several septic inspectors that no longer use this app for that reason

This app is sexist. If you want to search for a property by owner name, you always have to use the man’s name. Anytime I put in the woman’s name, it says no results found. If I don’t know the husband’s name, I have to go to the website version instead. I believe the reason is probably that the search only looks at “primary” owner. It’s bad enough that our flawed system is always putting the man’s name first on the deed, even if the woman is the primary on the mortgage, etc. This app makes the sexism so much more obvious and difficult to use.
