User Reviews

Reviews consistently praise the app’s ease of use across devices and its long-standing role in real estate workflows, but repeatedly report post-merger issues, significant mobile instability (crashes and poor iPad rendering), and signing workflow problems. The consensus is that while Dotloop remains trusted by many, its mobile experience and post-merger reliability are major pain points.
Pros
  • Very user-friendly across devices (phone, iPad, computer)
  • Longstanding tool trusted by agents (15+ years / 10+ years)
  • Helps organize paperwork and supports task creation (workflow benefits)
Cons
  • Post-merger issues and perceived decreased effectiveness
  • Poor mobile usability and instability (crashes, uploading failures, app not launching on iPhone/iPad)
  • Signing workflow problems (fields misbehave; cannot fill after signing; initials delete)

There is a lot to love and appreciate about DotLoop as a whole. Being a frequent phone user, having to hold a button to verify that I’m not a bot nearly every time I open the app makes me want to delete it. Add an option for facial recognition…

After having another bad experience where it’s very difficult to use some of the features having to go back between the app and the browser and spending so much time to get one contract filled out scription. I clicked to cancel subscription back in February. I went into my account I clicked manage account. I clicked to cancel the subscription. It gave me an option to get a discounted subscription for 1999 a month for three months and in small tiny letters on the left it says cancel my subscription and I clicked on that. It did not go through. I noticed today after three months that I’m still getting billed I tried it again. It doesn’t work. I called customer support and the lady Kristal told me I should’ve known. I had a premium account because on the top left in blue on the very corner it does read premium. I did notice that now but I should not have had to look for that I should not have had to deal with this. I should not have had to call them. I recall this is something that happened a couple years ago when I was going out of town for the summer. I can’t believe after being a loyal customer for over a decade. I’m told that they’re not going to do anything for me. This service sucks. They don’t update the software. It’s terrible that you have to go back back-and-forth from the Web browser to the app to get things done. I am going to have to dispute the charges with my credit card company now and spend all this time after spending 30 minutes on the phone with Support. This is an honest review from a loyal customer for a long time explore other options if you don’t want to get frustrated, mistreated, and taking advantage of. My name is Lance Winters. I am a broker on Miami Beach. This is my review.
