User Reviews

The app is a solid basic-strategy trainer that helps beginners learn, practice quickly, and prep for Vegas, aided by helpful stats. However, recurring UI bugs (split/drawing issues, obscured cards) and occasional incorrect or outdated strategy guidance reduce reliability. The value hinges on a subscription for pro features, and some users report pricing concerns and billing problems. Overall, it’s a strong learning tool with notable usability and accuracy issues to address.
Pros
  • Effective basic-strategy training with explanations and game-type customization.
  • Speeds up practice, helps users gain confidence, and improves decision-making.
  • Affordable value for training relative to real-world play and Vegas prep.
  • Strong progress tracking and analytics to visualize improvement and weak hands.
  • Wide range of practice options and scenarios for versatile learning.
Cons
  • Frequent bugs that block essential actions (split options sometimes greyed out or blurred, and top card obscures numbers), hindering practice accuracy.
  • Strategy guidance can be inaccurate or outdated in updates (some moves are wrong, surrender rules contested).
  • Pro features require a subscription, with concerns about pricing and a missing one-time purchase option.
  • Billing issues and customer-support concerns (trial cancellations and unexpected charges).

Could use more features but is very strong at what it does.

Haven’t played BJ in a while. BJT is an excellent way of refreshing my skills

I did a seven day trial, put a reminder in my calendar to cancel and they STILL billed my card for a one year subscription. Totally outrageous and borderline criminal. I have reached out to them, we will see if they do the right thing or not.
