WHY BASIC STRATEGY Basic strategy is the set of mathematically optimal decisions for every blackjack hand, worked out through exhaustive computer analysis of the game's probabilities. Playing it perfectly doesn't guarantee any single hand goes your way, but it is the mathematically strongest way to play, every single hand. This app exists to help that strategy become second nature, through repetition and clear explanations, so you can play with confidence.

RULE-AWARE, NOT ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL Correct blackjack strategy changes with the table rules, and this app adapts to match:

• Dealer hits or stands on soft 17 (H17 / S17)
• 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 deck shoes
• Double after split allowed or not
• Late surrender available or not

Change any of these in Settings and every recommendation updates to match, because the correct play for a 16 against a dealer's 10 is not the same at every table.
