However, widespread reliability and authentication problems dominate: repeated login prompts and biometric issues, plus crashes or startup failures that prevent access. These issues recur across multiple iOS devices, sometimes lasting for months, significantly diminishing the overall user experience.

My family has always used MCNB. Good people, good bank, terrible app. App continuously says we can’t log in & we have had to change our password countless times. Very frustrating.

The "occasional" need to manually log in with ID and password vs. using Face ID is more like every few days. And after the "occasional" required manual login you have to turn Face ID on again. This is extremely irritating.
