User Reviews

Users appreciate online ordering and budgeting the app enables, plus a context-preserving browse experience. However, the redesigned app is buggy, with unreliable sign-in/checkout, inaccurate search/inventory data, and data loss of saved lists. The UI is cluttered and difficult to navigate. Restoring the prior version and fixing core reliability and inventory features would address the most common complaints.

Cons

The redesigned app is buggy and significantly worse than the old version, with crashes and slow performance.
Checkout and sign-in flow is unreliable: frequent sign-in prompts, login errors, and missing or delayed order confirmations.
Search and inventory data are often inaccurate or not up to date, making it hard to find items or know availability.
Users lose saved lists during updates; years of lists can be deleted with no easy recovery.
UI navigation is cluttered and non-intuitive, with banners, forced carousels, and missing features like shelf location lookups and back navigation.

Recent reviews

One of the worst apps I use for shopping. There is no functioning way to consistently shop the current ad, upcoming ads are not available for viewing, I am forced to re-log in constantly, items in the list frequently can’t add to the cart, the search engine for foods is comically bad, the app lacks filter options to search by sale items, the frequency purchased filter is inaccurate, not all items in the store are available in the app, it is slow and often freezes and needs to be refreshed, and the app displays every item individually in alphabetical order (a nightmare in inefficiency!). It makes me angry to think that I pay to use this app because it should save me time, but often takes me more time than going into the store to make the purchase because it functions so poorly. I do most of my shopping online and this app definitely stands out as one of the worst. If any L&B executive thinks they have a fully functioning app for online shopping they are kidding themselves. They must never use it or test it from a customer perspective. The old app was far superior in functionality and efficiency.

The app works, but it’s quite slow and glitchy. The payment and checkout is also wonky. The in-store experience is fabulous; I’m surprised the app is as choppy as it is.
