The S-pushTAN app is widely criticized for instability and frequent errors, with users repeatedly seeing communication errors (10002) and broken functionality after updates. The activation/registration flow is overly complex and slow, often requiring letters, QR codes, and many support calls. Migrating to a new device is painful, as TAN IDs can't be transferred and a new registration letter is needed. The UX is burdensome, requiring multiple apps and passwords, and customer support is seen as unhelpful. Overall, online banking access becomes unreliable and frustrating.

Recent reviews

This app makes banking with Sparkasse unpleasant and they will cancel your password at random leaving bills unpaid and your account inaccessible, at the times when you need it most. Not recommended for overseas people, travelers or anyone really.
