User Reviews

User reviews show a mix of positives and notable recurring issues. Pros center on the brain-training concept and a usable free tier. Cons that recur across multiple reviews include accessibility barriers for color vision, unclear or fast feedback/instructions, subscription/payments friction, lack of progress metrics, and visual pacing that can be uncomfortable or unreliable. Addressing accessibility, clarity, and a clearer progression/measurement system could improve overall satisfaction.
Pros
  • Strong brain-training concept with challenging exercises that many users feel could be beneficial.
  • Free version and daily free exercises allow trying the app before subscribing.
  • Some users find the exercises engaging and worthwhile despite the issues.
Cons
  • Accessibility issues: color-vision/color-distinguishing challenges are common and colorblind options don’t adequately help.
  • Instructions and feedback readability: instructions can be ambiguous or hard to follow, and feedback or audio can be rapid or unclear.
  • Pricing and subscription friction: signup/payments often feel cumbersome, with mentions of web-based purchases, cancellation difficulties, and perceived high costs.
  • Lack of progress tracking: there are no clear scores, metrics, or progress comparisons over time, which makes it hard to gauge improvement.
  • Pace, visuals, and reliability: graphics can flash or move too quickly, causing eye strain, and some games don’t load or work reliably.

Works well on my iPhone 12 but I downloaded it on my mom’s Google Pixel (2025) and the navigation task bar (the info, pause and exit buttons) when playing games is completely gone, so she can’t exit or pause any games

The tests are great. The system works very well, encouraging you to keep trying until you figure it out. However. There is no option for accessibility. Not even in the audio practice, which requires working ears. I wrote support and asked, and they told me directly that they have no plans to address this. The brains of those with disabilities apparently are a very low priority. I’m hoping it gets fixed eventually. This really is the best brain training game… but I don’t want to give my money to a company that views some humans as worth less effort.

I’m only using the daily free version. Challenging, but fun! My only quibble is that the card memory game doesn’t give enough time to respond! Even hovering fingers over the thumbs up and down buttons doesn’t allow enough time to tap
