Pros

The Milepost content is a valuable resource for travel planning and reference.
Offline reading is possible after the content is fully downloaded, enabling use without internet.
The digital format offers a portable alternative to the bulky print edition for on-the-go planning.
Some users were able to access and navigate the digital edition when setup succeeds (basic reading capability).

Cons

Widespread login/authentication problems in the app (failed login, password reset not working, and mismatch with website login).
The app requires internet connectivity to function for many users, making it unusable in remote travel areas.
Purchasing and licensing issues (repeated purchases, content not unlocking, and poor or unresponsive support).
Performance and stability problems (crashes, slow loading, artifacts when zooming, content not downloading).
Separate app/channel for access (not integrated with Apple Books/Kindle; DRM/PayPal redirects; a confusing, 'glorified PDF' experience).

Recent reviews

Downloaded the app and attempted to use the digital code from my hardcopy Milepost. I could create the account and the website accepted the digital code as valid with no problem, but after that I was caught up in an endless cycle of having to reenter my password. The printed version is great but I have yet to find an app or any other electronic access that works. I’d buy a pure electronic version but I think I’d be stuck with the same problem of “I paid, now what?” with no access.

Even though I have an account and use the correct credentials I get the error message “failed to login” without further guidance….

So you create a digital account based on the book purchase. Then you end up and some third party digital magazine site, asking for the same information. If you don’t complete that second step (even though you already created a MilePost account), you can’t log into the app. Works fine if you do. So it loses a star for that mess and loses another star for basically being a glorified PDF reader that doesn’t even work well. When zoomed in and moving around a page, it laps and has artifacts on screen.
