User Reviews

Players praise Walking Dead: The Game for its gripping, branching narrative, memorable characters, and strong writing that rewards choices and offers high replay value. Many call it a standout story-driven title worth the price for the full experience. However, recurring issues dampen the experience: restoring purchases across devices often fails, blocking access to bought episodes; and stability problems like crashes or white screens can render the game unusable. Some players also feel misled by having to pay again for episodes after an initial purchase. Overall: excellent storytelling, but purchasing and stability problems hurt.
Pros
  • Engaging branching narrative with meaningful choices and multiple endings
  • Memorable characters and strong writing
  • High replay value and a standout story-driven experience
  • Widely regarded as worth the price for the full Walking Dead experience
Cons
  • Recurrent issues with restoring purchases across devices; episodes not accessible after reinstall or on new devices
  • Stability problems: crashes, white screens, and freezes that can render the game unusable
  • Perceived paywall/frustration: having to repurchase episodes after an initial purchase

I bought the episode 2-4 pack previously but my entire game reset and it won’t let me restore my purchase. It’s in my purchase history as well.
