Earthmate for Chrome pairs your inReach satellite device with the Garmin Earthmate app, turning your phone or tablet into a satellite texting, navigation, and safety tool. Access offline topographic maps, aerial imagery, hybrid maps, waypoints, routes, and unlimited cloud storage for trips anywhere in the world.

Features include two-way messaging and SOS control from the app, LiveTrack real-time location sharing, online trip planning, and wireless syncing with Garmin Explore. A global Iridium satellite network is used for live tracking and messaging; an active inReach subscription is required. Note that continuous GPS usage can affect battery life.

Impossible to use. My inreach is now an expensive paperweight. Will not connect, will not work, JUNK!

The app is not bad but my biggest problem with this is that you can’t see anything but the most recent tracking. If they fixed this it would be a 4-5 star app for me

For a while now, the app will not update your current location, compass stuck, altitude just says zero. Definitely would not trust the app anymore when compared to my in reach device.
