User Reviews

Users praise the simple interface and strong organization, long-term reliability, PDF export, and keyword search. However, recurring issues include data loss during migrations, syncing/login problems, stability crashes, inconsistent cross-device theming, and occasional connectivity bugs. Overall, it remains a solid note-taking tool for many, but reliability concerns limit its suitability for critical notes.

Pros

Easy and intuitive to use with a simple interface.
Strong folder-based organization with folders, categories, and color-coding for notes and lists.
Long-standing reliability; users have used it for years and still rely on it as a primary notes app.
Export to PDF (useful for scripts) and flexible note sharing.
Good search capability to locate old notes quickly.

Cons

Data loss risk during migrations/updates (notes or stories can be lost).
Persistent syncing and server reliability issues (slow sync, login failures).
App instability and crashes (crashes, won’t launch, closes unexpectedly).
Inconsistent cross-device experience (different themes/feature parity between iOS and Android; theme store not loading on iOS).
Intermittent connectivity bugs (No Internet bug and related access issues).

Twice in the last year, they just lock you out of the app. I can’t keep having this happen

I use this app every time I need to remember something. I love it because it’s so easy to use. Even when I got a new phone, all my notes synced over seamlessly.
