User Reviews

MiLB on iOS offers valuable minor league baseball content and is popular among dedicated MILB fans. However, it suffers from reliability and UX issues: ticketing/login glitches, lack of iPad landscape support, intrusive ads, embedded web pages, and slow data loading. Box scores and standings can be difficult to access inside the app, sometimes forcing users to external sites. While the app shows strong potential and some improvements, addressing these core usability and reliability problems is essential.
Pros
  • Provides a rich set of information on minor league baseball (scores, standings, rosters, stats).
  • Strong appeal for fans who follow the minor leagues and want dedicated content for MILB.
  • Ticketing features are a core part of the app and described as easy to use when working.
  • Shows potential and has seen improvements over time (e.g., features like single sign-on) indicating ongoing development.
Cons
  • Ticketing/login flow is glitchy and unreliable, with repeated sign-in prompts and wallet integration failures.
  • No landscape/full-screen support on iPad and poor rotation handling.
  • Ads and video pop-ups interrupt reading stats and degrade the browsing experience.
  • Embedded web pages and cookie prompts disrupt the native app experience (cookies/preferences interfering with data within the app).
  • Score/box score data loading is slow or inconsistent, with navigation sometimes failing to display data inside the app.

Every time you try to get in the app you have to have a code sent to you. Should be set up so that it remembers the user.
