The MLB app is easy to use and performs well when functioning, with in-app streaming and customizable team news as key positives. However, repeated issues with blackouts, streaming reliability, login stability, post-update UI friction, and ads significantly degrade the experience for many users.

I am a fan of the Mets. Sad, I know. Nevertheless, I want to suffer with them by watching all their games. I live in North Carolina, but for some strange reason many of their games are blacked out. When they play: Cincinnati, Baltimore, Washington, and Atlanta I cannot watch them. The closest city to me is Atlanta which about 500 or so miles away. I will not be renewing if this isn’t fixed MLB. It is insane.

I am giving this app a single star because I live in Hawaii and MLB blacks out ALL games that are on the west coast. That is absurd. We are not in any of those states, yet we can’t watch our out of network game (St. Louis, for example) live when they play on the coast. Make us pick one team to black out or something. It makes no sense. The rest of the app is fine. A little glitchy, but what app isn’t.
