User Reviews

Users broadly praise Stuff Magazine for strong gadget content and a mobile-friendly, interactive reading experience that has improved over time. However, repeated pain points across multiple reviews include login/subscription access problems, download crashes, and regional content availability issues, plus dissatisfaction with support responsiveness. When functioning, the app is praised for its brightness and interactivity, but reliability and onboarding remain significant barriers for many users.
Pros
  • High-quality gadget content and usefulness as a reference
  • Mobile-friendly reading on iPhone with convenient access
  • Improvements and stability across updates
  • Interactive multimedia features (videos and 360° views) in the digital edition
Cons
  • Persistent login/subscriber code issues and confusing access flow for purchased issues
  • Download and installation problems: downloads freezing, failing, or crashing
  • Content availability and advertised items differing by region (UK vs US)
  • Poor or slow customer support and unresponsive responses to problems

When you subscribe for a magazine, it is probably because there is one or few more things that you truly like about it. Something unique. Well, i liked stuff top 10's and i always used it for reference whenever comparing gadgets. However, stuff suddenly decided to remove consoles top ten's and drones top 10's!!! That totally blew it off for me and i regret subscribing already! In addition to the above, they no more have interesting reviews. They no more give scores. It is hard for me to understand/justify why would any gadget guy/girl subscribe for this!!

I'm not really sure what they did, but this app is now terrible. Everything is too small and different parts of each page have to be zoomed in and out to be able to read it. It's like they were tired of making two versions—print edition and tablet edition—and just made the print version digital. No more scrolling up and down. No more tablet manipulation. Just flipping page by page just like print. Ruins the whole experience of being digital. Links also don't work. Lame.
