User Reviews

Pic-a-Pix: Nonogram Color is loved for its vast, high-quality puzzle library, mix of color and B&W puzzles, and smooth, user-friendly interface with helpful hints. It delivers solid value and relaxing brain-teasers, with weekly free puzzles and broad difficulty. Common drawbacks are a perceived shortage of hard puzzles (especially large sizes), a color-heavy weekly rotation, rising prices, and some iPad-specific readability/glitch issues on large grids.
Pros
  • Extensive puzzle library with both color and black-and-white Pic-a-Pix, across a wide range of sizes and difficulties.
  • Smooth interface with helpful hints, error checks, no penalties for wrong taps, and reliable navigation.
  • Good value and affordability, with puzzles available at reasonable prices and weekly free puzzles.
  • Relaxing, brain-stimulating gameplay that players repeatedly describe as enjoyable and calming.
  • Strong variety and quality praised by long-time fans; many consider it the best implementation of nonograms.
Cons
  • Hard/very hard puzzles seem scarce or unavailable, especially in large sizes, despite requests from players.
  • Weekly puzzle rotation biased toward color puzzles with insufficient black-and-white challenges.
  • Recent price increases and overall perception of higher costs for new puzzles.
  • Accessibility/UI issues for very large grids on iPad (readability and occasional rotation glitches).

The puzzles go from-super simple to incredibly hard. Every one has been fun. I enjoy trying to guess the picture.

I’ve been playing this game for years. I especially love the hard and very hard puzzles. I’ve noticed though that the hard and very hard puzzles don’t seem to be available anymore? There always used to be new ones. Hopefully they will come back

Please release more puzzles that are hard…they are the only ones I will purchase
