User Reviews

Users broadly praise the app’s effectiveness for memorizing scripture, organization, reminders, and on-the-go use, with ongoing developer improvements. However, repeated concerns are price and limited free access, unreliable voice recognition, keyboard/language input issues after updates, and uneven support, including occasional bugs that degrade usability.
Pros
  • Helps with memorizing scripture and daily practice.
  • Well organized with progress tracking and multiple study modes.
  • Step-by-step prompts guide learning and typing practice.
  • Voice recognition feature for reviewing verses (hands-free).
  • Ongoing improvements by developers.
Cons
  • High cost and limited free tier / paid features; translations and premium options can be expensive.
  • Voice recognition accuracy issues and bugs (misrecognition, dropped words, inconsistent performance).
  • Keyboard and language input problems after updates (new keyboard UI, inability to switch languages).
  • No trial period and perceived weak customer support for paid users.
  • Post-update regressions and bugs causing usability problems (updates making app unusable).
Recent reviews
I like the idea but there are fundamental flaws that prevent ease of use. If you shuffle the verses, it will always end once the last verse of the set is reviewed. Even if you’ve only reviewed a few. If you shuffle again to review the remaining verses, all of the verses are thrown back into the mix, even the ones you already reviewed. Which means you can only review the verses in order, or deal with the issue of shuffle ending early, and then having to review the verses again as you try to get to the ones that were missed. Every time I give the app a shot, I run into the same issue and revert back to physical flashcards.

This app makes it fun because there’s so many different ways that it allows you to memorize the verse. You can speak it or type it. You can organize the verses and folders. Love the app had it for years.
