User Reviews

User reviews show major pain points around authentication reliability, delayed or unreliable market data, and navigation stability. Many report login difficulties (including Face ID), data not reflecting real-time values, and frequent crashes or update-related issues. A few positives praise the newer design’s added features like net worth and account balances visibility. Overall, the top concerns are authentication, real-time data access, and UX stability; addressing these could greatly improve satisfaction.
Pros
  • New app design adds more features, including net worth and balances visibility across accounts.
  • In newer versions, some users find the app easier to use after getting used to it.
Cons
  • Frequent login/access issues: cannot log in, multi-step authentication, and recurring Face ID failures.
  • Data/market information is not real-time and updates are delayed, with occasional zero balances shown.
  • Poor navigation and UX with dead ends, browser redirects, and desktop-version prompts.
  • Stability bugs: crashes, post-update issues, and forced logouts.

With older eyes, small type and not able to zoom in on explanations or numbers can be very frustrating. Not everyone is working with 22 year old sight and a larger font option and or zoom would be greatly appreciated. Lot of the functionality is not really very intuitive and I do not really understand it as well as I would hope when using the features and or what those features are doing for me very well or what the inputs of info are doing or how they are changing the calculated outcome. Not easy to change some info or to know how you change what info to match what you are wanting to change in your contributions or how a change in contributions would differ the outcome in the long run, If it is to help me see and understand my growth over years and where the differences effect it I do not see that. And exactly how do I easily change a monthly input into the retirement, where do I do that. I seem to be stuck trapped more on my original entries and I am not sure how/what it is using in monthly input to give me a retirement salary. This is hard to explain but I do not find it easy to input say a $10.00 month investment and then change it to max giving investment along with where to see what a max giving investment would change in the end result. Also it’s hard to know how you are calculating the end amount, what interest rate it’s based on and what monthly increase investment is being used. All I see is some info I put in somehow and then what you say would be a monthly income, but no history or of what amount. What I do manipulate is not clear and what I have exactly changed if I do. I may not be familiar enough on how it works but isn’t that the purpose of making this easy for a person to use and understand the inputs and for outcome results be clear to the less than savvy or finance oriented customer. Thanks and I know this is a subjective review based on my knowledge/ability of your terminology or approach to this app compared to what I may want the tool to do. Appreciate the opportunity to comment.

I have been locked out of my account for over a week with little to no feedback. I have been told they are “working on the problem “. They refuse to give me a phone number for the account manager or legal department nor provide me with the numerous recorded phone conversations I have had without a subpoena. Not sure they have my best interests in ind and may be circling the liability wagons. Also, they manage my employers city employees funds that number in the hundreds of millions. Be wary folks.
