User Reviews

Users consistently praise the magazine's high-quality, broad astronomy content—beginner-friendly articles, telescope guides, star charts, event calendars, and in-depth reviews. The publication is seen as a strong resource for amateur astronomers, with practical DIY content and readers often looking forward to new issues. However, recurring problems overshadow the positives: paid content frequently isn't accessible or downloadable, subscriptions fail to deliver, and crashes or startup issues plague the app. Customer service is widely criticized for slow or unhelpful responses, and some reviews report misleading prompts to purchase or upgrade content. Reliability and support remain major concerns despite strong content.
Pros
  • High-quality, comprehensive astronomy content including beginner-friendly articles, telescope buying guides, star charts, event calendars, and reviews.
  • Valuable resource for amateur astronomers, with beginner-friendly guidance and broad coverage of topics.
  • DIY projects and practical guides accompany the articles, adding hands-on value.
  • Readers look forward to new issues and ongoing publication.
Cons
  • Paid content not delivered: subscription access and downloads frequently fail, leaving users billed but unable to read.
  • App instability: crashes on open, startup freezes, and compatibility issues with older iOS versions.
  • Poor customer service and unfulfilled promises, with reports of no responses and missing bonus material.
  • Unclear pricing or prompts that push users to purchase or upgrade content, sometimes misleadingly.

I am unable to access my subscription. I have been billed. Done a reinstall and restore my purchases and I get a message to contact support via the app. I have done this 3 times and never received a response. Avoid this App.
