User Reviews

DJcity’s iOS app is praised for portability, organization, and a broad, current catalog ideal for on-the-go DJs. It’s valued for easy crate management, quick playlist creation, and solid value. However, recurring issues include launch crashes, muffled mobile audio compared to the web, and inconsistent performance with slow previews and download limitations. When it runs smoothly, it’s a strong, convenient DJ tool; stability improvements are needed to satisfy all users.
Pros
  • Mobile app enables on-the-go playlist creation and music access from a phone.
  • Intuitive, well-organized UI that’s easy to navigate.
  • Extensive, up-to-date catalog with current remixes, club tracks, and clean edits across genres.
  • Efficient workflow for crate management and downloading, with easy save-to-crate and cross-device use.
  • Good value for money given the features and DJ-focused library.
Cons
  • App can fail to launch or exhibit crashes (white screen) on some devices.
  • Mobile audio quality can be muffled or noticeably worse than the web version.
  • Inconsistent performance: some previews load slowly or fail, and downloads can be incomplete or limited.
Recent reviews
I’ve been on and off member for quite awhile and ever since I’ve been using the platform I’ve never been disappointed. I love the fact that I can take it with me on the go via the app and create my playlists from my phone that’s definitely a plus. The ease of use and the layout works for me. Price is fare for all that you are getting. Can’t say the same for many other record pools unfortunately.
