Distance Tool lets you calculate distances between points on a map and compute areas for polygons. It supports metric (meters, kilometers) and imperial units, displays coordinates in decimal or degrees/minutes/seconds, and can drop your current location. Choose standard, satellite, or hybrid views and even calculate altitude offline.

Ideal for mapping fields, plots, or property boundaries, it also offers freehand drawing to outline an area, Follow Mode to measure while you move, and easy email sharing of your drawing. A shape file can be opened on any device with Distance Tool.

Recent reviews

For dev- I’m on iPhone 17 pro, have tried deleting and re installing. This used to be one of my favorite apps, clean UI, super useful. Then an update rolled out some time ago and when dropping a pin, it goes to a random point +- 20 yards from where your finger was.
