User Reviews

iDoceo is praised for its powerful, customizable grading and classroom-management features and strong cross-device syncing, plus easy roster/import workflows and ongoing updates. However, it faces recurring issues with syncing reliability, a cluttered interface and steep learning curve on mobile, and limited language support (no Arabic). Printing/planning capabilities are also restricted. Overall, it remains a capable, long-standing tool for teachers who invest time to learn its depth.
Pros
  • Powerful, flexible feature set for grading, rubrics, attendance, seating charts, and detailed reports
  • Excellent cross-device syncing across iPad, iPhone, and Mac with data accessible on multiple devices
  • Easy roster import and template reuse across classes (copying classes/templates)
  • Responsive developer with frequent updates and improvements based on user feedback
  • Long-standing, trusted tool that many teachers rely on for years
Cons
  • Reliability issues with syncing across devices and reliance on iCloud can cause data mismatches or losses
  • Cluttered, busy interface and a steep learning curve, especially on phones, making it hard to navigate
  • Lack of Arabic language support/localization
  • Planner/printing limitations, with restricted export/print options for lesson plans

I have used this planner for many years and have never regretted having it. IDoceo is a great planner very customizable and flexible. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a way to stay organized in planning and record keeping.

I really could be a sales person for this application b/c after 35 years of teaching elementary music (700 students a week) it has given me the ability to truly document my student progress and get to know them (ie: notes and pictures). I have seating charts as well as seating plans for center work. LOVE THIS APP

If you are computer literate, the setup of grade books isn’t too difficult and is quick and easy. Within half a day, I had set up several classes of information and set up pending assignments. The ease of see all the grades in an organized way has put the burden of grading away!
