User Reviews

User reviews show a mix of strong security and ease of use with solid organization, but persistent issues harm reliability. The most mentioned problems are performance delays and freezes, data loss or backup incompatibility after updates, price changes and demands for additional payments, lack of straightforward data export, and problematic Apple Watch integration. Overall, long-time users value OneSafe for storing passwords and organization, but reliability, support, and pricing concerns limit trust for many.
Pros
  • Secure, centralized storage for usernames, passwords, and other data, offering a trusted place to keep information.
  • User-friendly interface with folders/categories and easy retrieval of items.
  • Long-standing use by many users, indicating reliability and trust built over years.
  • Export/share data feature for backups or transferring information.
Cons
  • Performance and stability issues, including long delays to 'optimize for your device' and frequent freezes or shutdowns.
  • Data loss risk and backup/upgrade compatibility problems, with items disappearing after updates or device changes.
  • Pricing changes that require premium charges for features once included, leading to frustration.
  • Lack of straightforward data portability; limited or unclear options to export all passwords to another manager.
  • Apple Watch integration problems or removal, reducing multi-device usability.

Google image API hasn’t worked in forever. I see there’s a paid version now but hard to convince myself that these issues won’t persist.

I’ve been using this for years. I keep all my usernames and passwords as well as other cards I have. It seems secure. User friendly. Great to have all this information that I can’t remember in one place.

The icon for the app, when the setting is Dark mode, shows a dark icon normally. But when it is in a group of icons on the screen, and you “zoom out” to full screen, the white version shows up instead of the dark version. This only happened since upgrading to iOS 26.
