Users report a generally usable Volvo Cars app that is easy to navigate and offers remote start/lock and useful mileage tracking when it works. However, recurrent update-induced instability dominates feedback: frequent sign-ins, offline issues, incorrect car status, and unreliable climate control/remote features. The watch app is often unreliable, and CarPlay integration regressed in recent updates. These recurring problems outweigh the positives for many users.

Recent reviews

The newest update (7.0) rescaled all of the UI elements in a ridiculous manner - everything IS INCREDIBLY LARGE FOR NO REASON. The useful functionality is hidden the three dot menu, and it all looks incredibly clunky.

App ha definitely improved in the last couple of updates. UI looks cleaner. However, after the last update, the font / icons look HUGE. Like they were made for Mr. Magoo. I thought I had accidentally tapped an accessibility setting.
