Shinro Minesweeper is a logic puzzle game with some similarities to Sudoku. The objective is to locate the mines on the minefield. The minefield shows several arrows pointing to at least one mine. Not every mine has an arrow pointing at it. Count of the mines among the rows and columns is also given. Using this information the player needs to deduce the location of the mines.

By combining deduction, pattern recognition, and careful counting, players sweep the grid to clear mines. Shinro offers a fresh twist on classic grid-based logic games for puzzle fans on a Chrome extension.

Shinro - Sudoku Matrix Mines is a fun, addictive puzzle with a unique Minesweeper/Sudoku hybrid and good visuals, offered free with ads. However, it suffers from stability and support issues: frequent freezes, unresponsive controls, and the need to reinstall often; long periods without updates and compatibility problems on newer iOS devices; restricted music playback; and a flawed flagging mechanic. These stability and usability problems are the most mentioned drawbacks.

Still waiting for an iOS 11 update. What’s the holdup?

I am completely done with this app. The owners obviously don't care about it all all. It hasn't been updated in 5 years. I'm tired of having to delete it and redownload it every few days because it freezes and wont let you do anything with it. You also cant have any music playing while on it, not itunes, pandora, youtube, nothing. I'm tired of fooling with it. It's too much trouble for what it's worth. If in the future I see that someone is taking the time to update it every once in a while, I will redownload it and update my review, but I don't see that ever happening.

I played the crap out of this game on my 3G, 4S, and 5C. Now that I have a 6S Plus, the game doesn't respond to touch in this new device. Good thing I still have my 4Sfor some iPhone gaming...
