Reviews consistently complain that the GameStop iOS app is unusable due to update and OS compatibility blocks, login and password issues, and frequent ordering failures. Users report endless update loops, forced OS upgrades, and apps that won’t open. Login problems and password resets are common, and attempts to purchase or check rewards often fail. Performance is slow and buggy, and customer service for fulfillments or refunds is seen as unhelpful. A minority note occasional positives when the app works, but overall reliability is severely lacking.

Recent reviews

Cashiers use to be able to redeem your monthly pro member credit and all your points at the register. Now you’re forced to redeem thru the app. The app doesn’t load well with an excellent connection and it definitely won’t load inside of a GameStop store. Points can only be redeemed in intervals and they removed the $5 option. Points and monthly credit can no longer be used on the same transaction. GameStop continues to reduce pro membership benefits, makes it difficult to use the ones that are left, have a poor app, poor customer service and are the worse TCG scalpers around. Not only am I not renewing my membership, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.
