User Reviews

Overall, users praise QuakeFeed for accurate, timely, worldwide earthquake alerts and a user-friendly experience with strong map capabilities. The standout pros are reliable notifications and easy setup, plus rich map layers and fault identification. The main drawbacks are intrusive ads that hamper use, occasional reliability issues (missed/delayed alerts, app instability), and a desire for finer area-level alert controls and more uniform regional updates.
Pros
  • Accurate and timely information with immediate worldwide earthquake alerts.
  • Easy to use and set up; user-friendly interface.
  • Robust alerting/notification system that delivers alerts promptly.
  • Rich map features including multiple layers/basemaps and fault identification.
Cons
  • Intrusive, hard-to-dismiss ads (including full-page and Temu ads) disrupt usage.
  • Reliability issues: some alerts may be missing or delayed, data can be incorrect, and the app sometimes won’t open.
  • Limited fine-grained area controls for notifications; users want the ability to turn off alerts for specific areas.
  • Occasional regional update gaps (e.g., Costa Rica) and uneven update frequency.

Always great accurate info and important to know when you live in an island and an earthquake can trigger a tsunami

I love the information that this app gives for each quake. Very detailed. The map of each location of a quake is a great idea and allows the user to also expand their geographic knowledge. This is one of my all-time favorite apps!
