User Reviews

I find this app to be intuitive and full of data that can be sorted many ways (by distance from your location, magnitude, date, etc) and it also shows geographic features such as plates and mountains. The map view allows high level viewing of hot spots and the list view allows you to get more detailed info on location and depth. Very useful app with data that is continually refreshed. Highly recommended.

There are 58 air miles between San Bruno California and Santa Rosa California. My wife and I felt the 4.4 earthquake on the Rogers Creek fault; it was 2 miles north of Center of Santa Rosa with depth of only 1.6 miles. That may account for why we felt it plus why NOAA published a tsunami report immediately after the earthquake. All of the information reported on this EQ app site is highly appreciated. Information is easy to read. Mabs associated with the area easy to read and interpret. Additionally we know people in Petaluma and they said they had a one minute advance warning (that the earthquake was going to happen) from the recently established early warning system. all of this information is highly appreciated.
