User Reviews

The app is praised for its easy-to-use interface and helpful park information, but it suffers from stability, search, and data quality issues. Crashes, input problems, outdated data, and mapping inaccuracies undermine its usefulness, though, when working, it helps with planning trips and discovering parks with useful links.
Pros
  • Easy to use and helps find many parks nearby.
  • Provides lots of useful information, including links and directions to parks, camping, and trails.
  • Helpful for planning trips and discovering parks during travel.
  • Sleek/new design.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and the app won’t open or closes during use.
  • Search and input often don’t work: cannot type in location, keyboard won’t appear, searches time out.
  • Data quality is inconsistent: outdated database, incorrect/closed parks, and broken links.
  • Maps/location results are unreliable: parks shown in the wrong areas or confusing topographic view.

I have tried several times to open this app but nothing happens. I've used it and loved it in the past but for some reason, it is completely greyed out. Is my iPhone 11 too outdated?

Have installed this several times, but refuses to search. First version a few years ago was great. Could pull up the area I was in on the map, ask it to search for campgrounds, and I would see all in the area. Pretty easy. Then it quit last year, would time out. Tried downloading a current version and first got a fantastic satellite image, but no identifiers to give ma an idea of where I was looking at. Tried again and now won’t do anything but let me choose what activities.

The app just closes itself after a search is initiated.
