I am using the latest v7.0.4 and the app keeps logging me out as soon as I login.

Ever since the latest update, every time I leave the app it signs me out and I have to log back in. Really annoying. Please fix! Update: At first I was happy to see an update to the app today, but things are actually worse now. I signed in yet again and the app spontaneously signed me out while I was still in the app. It’s like they’re trying to drive users away. 🤦🏼‍♂️

The app and forum backend have been undergoing a lot of under-the-hood changes recently (here in early 2026). During all the backend updates, the app’s maintainer has been very responsive to bug reports and transparent about outages and temporary hiccups. The BMW-dedicated community here on BIMMERPOST is great! It’s a bunch of folks passionate about their Bimmers and I’ve learned so much from them!
