Bought a book for my son. It never played. Getting a refund is a runaround. I purchased Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Last Olympian on Audible specifically for my son's kids profile. Despite following all the steps to add it to his profile, the book simply would not play. The system kept defaulting to a different title entirely. When I tried to get a refund, I was told that Amazon and Audible — the same company — operate separate systems, and neither could process the refund directly. I was bounced between the two and ultimately directed to call a support line to resolve a problem that should never have happened in the first place. My son was looking forward to this book. Instead of enjoying it, we spent our time troubleshooting a broken kids profile integration that Audible and Amazon have apparently not bothered to fix. If you're buying audiobooks for a child's profile, be warned: the experience is unreliable, and getting your money back when something goes wrong is far harder than it should be.
