It’s rare today to see an app that provides such poor UX. It’s slow, buggy, duplicated security verification processes everywhere, and forcing you to go through highly unoptimized processes to book a ticket, with instructions that are often unclear and sometimes grammatically wrong. And just by using it, you will have a strong sense that their backend systems are a mess too (why do they have different sets of passwords and IDs for air china account and phoenix-miles account? And guess which one you should use to log on to their official website? It will surprise you. And you can’t even see the bookings made on their official website airchina.us) By the way, this app is not the worst. Their US website is worse.
