User Reviews

This app is wonderful. There's different difficulty levels, and the easy difficulty is actually easy, unlike some chess apps where the computer trounces all over you if your a beginner. Different chess pieces are also nice. From the traditional style to the western style, they're a big help. My favorite is the simplified kanji with dots to show where they move. Overall this is a fun game that keeps me coming back for more. I highly recommend this app.

The Shogi game seems to be very good. Everything is in the description. The graphics are quite good and it is very fun to play the AI. Some suggestions: - Be able to reposition pieces after the game is over (or "Edit" Mode) - Maybe add some Game Center Achievements - Option to change the record notation to Japanese without needing to change the Device's Language - Add a "Pawn Toss" function for deciding who is black and who is white

This is an impressive Shogi app, perfect for the beginner. Easy to jump right in. I suggest starting at level 1 and working your way up.
