I understand that ads are necessary for the sustainability of the app and for profit, however, when the ads do not have a way of escape and are permanently shown, effectively locking me out of the game, then it becomes untenable. This has been my experience the last several weeks. I keep closing out of the app and reopening it, but the same static ads appear without any means offered to close out of them. If the intent is to create enough anger to force me to buy a subscription, that strategy has failed. I would rather not play than to tricked into buying a subscription.
