Cavern is a roguelike dungeon crawler for Chrome with an original world that isn’t based on any existing roguelike. Each level is randomly generated, so no two runs are the same, and you must recover the Mystery Object from the deepest caverns while repelling hostile nether creatures.

Features include shops to buy equipment and sell treasure; three playable classes (Fighter, Adventurer, Mystic); 16 randomly generated dungeons; an in-game tutorial; over 40 monsters; randomized item attributes and unique items; online highscores; the game saves your exact state when you receive a call or switch to another app; juicy sound effects; and permadeath. The vintage art by DeBray Bailey adds retro charm.

The best roguelike for iOS hands down. I heard about 9th dawn series but I’m so stuck on this one for now and haven’t tried it yet. I see people complaining about melee but fail to understand how these types of games work. Just give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
