User Reviews

Many reviews report SNCF Connect as unreliable: endless spinning, inability to load accounts or tickets, and failed bookings. When it does work, users praise easy booking and cross-border travel in Europe. The main pain points are login hurdles, persistent ticket import issues, and poor in-app support. Overall sentiment is heavily skewed toward instability, with occasional positives when the app functions correctly.
Pros
  • Booking tickets is easy and straightforward when the app is functioning.
  • Helpful for booking SNCF trains and enables cross-border travel within Europe.
  • Generally user-friendly and accessible interface when it works.
Cons
  • App frequently spins/loading endlessly and won’t load, making it unusable.
  • Cannot see or import tickets purchased previously; ticket import often fails or shows a perpetual progress indicator.
  • Booking/purchasing often fails at the final steps or cannot connect to the reservation system.
  • Login/authentication is difficult or unreliable (codes, verification puzzles, or excessive friction).
  • In-app support is weak or hard to reach (difficult to report issues, chat stuck, limited contact options).
Recent reviews
This app has only worked maybe twice in the past 2 months. I have had to resort to using the website. When you’re looking for an itinerary, names don’t populate and there’s a loop like it’s trying to load. The next day it’ll work and the following goes back to the same. A lot of other people are having the same problem so this is on the developer.

The developer of this app needs to find a new career. It is absolutely useless if you can’t open anything on it. Just watch spinning dots. Please fix. Website works but the app sucks. How can such a huge railway in Europe have no pride in their app.

Can’t import tickets purchased on computer. Clicking on account I just get the spin of death. Tried deleting and starting over. Can’t rematerialize my discount. Customer service told me just to carry the piece of paper. Why have an app? Maddening.
