User Reviews

The app is a long-standing, capable network tool with subnet-wide port scanning, device discovery, Wake-on-LAN, and real-time hop data, valued by many users. Common negatives center on UI readability, stability issues, and missing features (IPv6 input, multiple custom port lists, MAC/host-name editing). Some reviews question feature accuracy versus descriptions and seek cross-platform support (Mac) and better layout (landscape mode). Overall sentiment is strong but with notable usability and feature-gap concerns.
Pros
  • Reliable network discovery and port scanning across devices and subnets
  • Wake-on-LAN support that reliably boots devices from iPhone
  • Ability to scan entire IP ranges/subnets (not just single hosts)
  • Real-time hop measurement/traceroute-like visibility
  • Strong overall value with positive long-term user feedback and good updates (including iPad support)
Cons
  • UI/UX readability and usability issues (small fonts, hard-to-read color schemes)
  • Stability problems like freezes and scans failing, plus messages claiming not connected to WiFi
  • Feature gaps such as IPv6 input support, multiple customizable port lists, and visible MAC addresses/host-name editing
  • Occasional concerns about overpromising or mismatches between described features and actual functionality
  • Requests for cross‑platform presence (Mac) and landscape mode enhancements

I have been using this app for years. It has consistently worked well for me and has been my default tool for locating devices and open ports on my networks.

downloaded and paid for app to see if the channel for wifi needed to be changed. you need a computer science degree to use this app. totally useless for the average non IT pro. i mean would it hurt to put some easy to use things in like a channel traffic icon or something to help those who arent experts on wifi networks? useless in any way i can tell.

I really love this app as well other apps by this developer. My only issue that it’s hard to see. I wish this app as well other apps have bigger fonts so it would be easier to see and read. Here hoping for bigger fonts (selectable within app or by iOS accessibility feature).
