GoPayment POS lets you accept in-person and contactless payments on your iPhone using Tap to Pay on iPhone. You can accept physical cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets without extra terminals or hardware. It’s easy, secure, and private, with competitive processing fees (2.5% for in-person card payments). All sales made on the mobile app or with the card reader sync back to your QuickBooks Online account so your books stay up-to-date. Money movement services are provided by Intuit Payments Inc., licensed as a Money Transmitter by the New York State Department of Financial Services.\n\nAdditional features include collecting or retrieving customer details and sending receipts on the spot, easy product/service additions during a sale with automatic tax, tips, and discounts, and creating products and services with labels and prices for quick lookups. You can view deposits and status updates, and GoPayment accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Terms, pricing, and features are subject to change.

This is a great app until you need help! I have tried every correction listed in support and nothing works to get tap to pay. I have a newer phone and a better OS but no go. In 12 years I never had to contact Intuit for help…it’s a good thing because‘there ain’t none!” I got 1 email from ‘qb cares.com telling me to contact them and I don’t but then no response.

QuickBooks Payments placed all of my customer deposits on hold and said I should have received an email requesting additional documentation. I checked my email multiple times, including spam and junk folders, and I never received any request or clear instructions. All of my business information and documents were already completed inside QuickBooks, but there is no visible checklist in the app, no clear explanation of what is missing, and no clear timeline for when the funds will be released. This creates a serious cash-flow problem for a small business. If QuickBooks needs more documents, the request should be clearly shown inside the app and resent by email immediately. Holding customer deposits without clear communication is unacceptable.

Works about half the time. Constantly glitches and have to restart phone. Sometimes connects with card reader and sometimes doesn’t. Sometimes works with phone tap and sometimes doesn’t. Customer screen frequently blank. Intuit could care less.
