User Reviews

Users value Lingo for revealing how foods and lifestyle affect blood sugar, with several reporting better diet choices and improved control. Common complaints include sensors failing early, wide accuracy variability, high cost, and a recent app update that hangs and loses sensor connection. Food tracking is praised by some but criticized by others for limited nutrition data and difficult portion changes. Customer support is generally helpful in replacing faulty sensors.

Pros

  • Shows how specific foods and lifestyle choices affect blood glucose, helping users make diet changes
  • Helps users compare medications and see which ones work best for them
  • Customer support replaces faulty sensors
  • Quick add and food database features are useful

Cons

  • Sensors fail early or stop working before the 14-day period ends
  • Recent app updates cause hanging, lost sensor connection, and usability problems
  • Sensor readings vary widely from sensor to sensor and from fingerstick meters
  • Sensors are expensive

The latest update has totally ruined the usability of this App. Trying to log events is so frustrating now I don’t even want to use this anymore. I have used for several years before and loved the usability. If this is not fixed then I will switch to a different Glucose Monitor when this 24 day usage is up.

I have type 2 diabetes. I became much more aware of what foods are good and bad for my blood glucose level. And best of all, I realized which diabetes medication is working really well for me vs working only moderately. For experiment, I took one medication for 2 weeks them other one for following 2 weeks. Results were eye opener
