My Club Med

I have been to various Club Med resorts over the span of 20 plus years. Sadly, this last experience did not represent the true club med ethos. Some examples which led to our disappointment include: low energy and vibe from the team ( aside from some individuals, the team members clearly were just going through a routine); young children( including infants) were present - I thought it was 11yrs. and older; the resort overall looked very “ tired” - ripped cushions etc, old graying towels and face cloths, steps in main areas in disrepair. Additionally, they placed us in rooms that were 1/5 mile from main areas. We requested to be relocated and despite an obvious low occupancy, they couldn’t do anything for a number of days and we would be in different areas. This was unacceptable, so we remained in original location. The beach and the water was the best aspect of this experience. Sadly, I will not return to a Club Med resort based on this experience especially because of the lack of care and concern by the staff.
