Add a chess puzzle widget to your iPhone or iPad and come back to a fresh position every day. Open the app to solve tactics, analyze the board, or continue with a full chess experience built for quick sessions and thoughtful play.

Play online with your Lichess account, find opponents, create invite links, accept challenges, offer draws, resign, and follow the game clock directly in the app. You can also play nearby multiplayer with a friend, practice against AI, or explore famous classic games move by move.

Chess Widget also includes a board editor with FEN support, so you can create positions, test ideas, save setups, and jump straight into play.

Coach mode Review completed Lichess games with a move-quality score, an evaluation graph, and a breakdown of inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders. Return to a critical position and try a better move on the board, ask for a hint, or explore the best continuation. Compare White’s and Black’s thinking time with paired bars and time labels for both players. Tap the graphs or use the navigation buttons to explore the game move by move.
