User Reviews

Users generally praise the app for following favorites and getting timely alerts, plus its role as a mobile companion to Liquipedia. However, recurring issues include connectivity errors, a clunky, overly menu-driven UI with story-style results, intrusive ads, and data gaps compared to the website (missing events, rosters, maps, and prize data). Many want broader game coverage, more customization, and rosters. Overall, strong concept with valuable data, but stability, UX, and parity with the web remain major pain points.
Pros
  • Ability to follow favorites (teams/players/games) and get alerts for their matches and tournament start times
  • Easy to view regional progress, brackets, and match results in a simple UI
  • Liquipedia is a premier esports source and the app serves as a strong mobile companion
  • Design and navigation are decent and updates improve usability
  • Responsive developer support with quick bug fixes
Cons
  • Frequent connectivity / crash / cannot open issues
  • App feels clunky and not intuitive; too many menus and a 'stories' UI
  • Missing or inaccurate data compared to the website (events, rosters, prize pools, maps)
  • Ads are intrusive and degrade the user experience
  • Limitations like can't edit profile and incomplete feature set

Tried to check the app to see when RLCS would start tomorrow and it hasn’t been working all afternoon. Haven’t had any errors before but good app overall

The app is great I get to see my favorites go against each other at any time but I just wish that the fighters were on the app like they are with the website mostly street fighter, smash and tekken the most popular fighters there are right now but other then that I love the app and hope to see the fighting games make an appearance in a future update
