Core Anesthesia

This is an awesome resource to help supplement information being covered in nurse anesthesia school. I’m a 2nd year SRNA and listen to the content but the app creates huge roadblocks to being able to listen to content effectively. trying to listen to premium content through other apps like Spotify or Apple Podcasts doesn’t work (other than giving you a 35 second free clip telling you it’s premium content) and there’s no ability to create playlists inside the core anesthesia app. The app also doesn’t have any integration with Apple CarPlay so there’s no way to safely navigate the app while driving. Fast forward and skipping through episodes doesn’t work unless you manually swipe your phone. I paid $80 for an annual plan and it’s crazy that I can’t listen to content easier. I have a 2 hour commute to school and an hour commute to clinical, if I finish an episode I can’t safely scroll through the app to find another one to listen to while driving down the highway. So I end up not listening. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but having a paid subscription should let you listen to the Premium content easily and anywhere you want to. I tried sending an email asking for help/advice several months ago and never heard back.

Amazing content, talented teachers

This is the best supplement to CRNA school. Cole and Tanner do such a great job at explaining complex topics and break them down into digestible bites. I listen to some episodes on repeat and I feel very prepared on exam day. Listening helps me retrieve information later instead of just reading it. Or maybe it’s the combination of the two that make the difference. Anyway, I am so grateful for the crazy amount of time and detail they have put into these episodes. Worth its weight in gold. Thank you both! I’m a fan for life.
