Wave Active Surveillance App

** NOTE: This app is ONLY for use as part of a prostate cancer pilot called Wave Active Surveillance. Do NOT download this app unless you have been invited by your Urologist or Radiologist. **

To support Active Surveillance (AS) as a potential course of action for people diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, an interdisciplinary team of expert Urologists and Radiologists in Berlin (the Berlin Expert AS Team) has co-developed a new app called the Wave Active Surveillance App (Wave AS).

With Wave AS, you will have the opportunity for your medical records to be evaluated by the Berlin Expert AS Team. Simply complete a short list of tasks in the app and receive an expert recommendation on whether or not Active Surveillance is right for you.

Wave AS delivers reminders about your upcoming appointments and tasks, follow-up evaluations of your health status, and helpful information for monitoring prostate cancer.

*Active Surveillance is a method of monitoring localized prostate cancer categorized as a low risk profile for further growth and spread to eliminate the need for immediate treatment and avoid subsequent complications.
