I saw a post on Instagram about the Handa2paws app and decided to download it. I think we've been buying the wrong breeds. We bought a toy poodle years ago from a At the pet store, she was sick all the time and died at a young age. It's nice to see the app is against puppy mills and encourages rescuing.

When entering criteria for no shedding small dog, I was quite surprised to see a Bernese Mountain dog and other large dogs in the results. I had to make stuff up to see what it would do because my real criteria said no matches, and I know this isn’t true based on my own research.

I have very few apps on my phone but I adore dogs and learn as much about them as I possibly can. I have a pup now, but some day the time will come to adopt another one and I am doing research instead of just picking the sweetest baby at the shelter on the day I visit! This app is teaching me a ton and I recommend it highly!
