Rhythm Training

“Rhythm Training” is a professional rhythm practice app designed for music teachers, students, and music enthusiasts. It supports multiple practice modes, including rhythm dictation, rhythm sight-reading, notation, and playback.

• Randomly generate rhythm score and audio for dictation, sight-reading, or sight-singing practice. The built-in rhythm pattern library ensures musically reasonable results.

• Pure functionality, a clean interface, and no ads.

• Generation settings can be adjusted for different practice needs:

  1. Time signature: 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 3/8, 6/8, …
  2. Tempo: specify the beat unit and beats per minute
  3. Rhythm pattern library: choose which rhythm patterns are used for random generation. All common rhythm patterns are included in the app.
  4. Tuplet library: includes common tuplet types, such as triplets, 3 against 4, 4 against 3, 5 against 4, and more
  5. Rest switch: when enabled, the first note of a rhythm pattern may be replaced with a rest
  6. Tie switch: when enabled, the last note of one rhythm pattern may be tied to the first note of the next rhythm pattern
  7. Swing: eighth-note swing and sixteenth-note swing
  8. Other settings: pickup, number of measures, and more

• Includes 6 modes for different practice needs:

  1. Dictation Mode: enter notes according to the rhythm you hear, and check the answer at any time
  2. Stage Mode: choose stages with different themes and difficulties for rhythm training
  3. Exam Mode: complete dictation at a selected difficulty level, then check your accuracy after all notes have been entered
  4. Reading Mode: practice sight-reading or sight-singing with randomly generated rhythm notation
  5. Notation Mode: enter rhythm notation and play it back
  6. Tapping Mode: use the touchscreen instead of an instrument for simple rhythm sight-reading
