Autopilot: Automated Investing

In your own brokerage account

Features & Capabilities

Autopilot is automated, smart portfolio investing inside your own brokerage account — a curated marketplace where you can discover and automatically trade alongside portfolios built by experts, AI, hedge fund trackers, and thematic strategists. With over $1B invested, you pick a Pilot, connect your brokerage (Robinhood, Schwab, Fidelity, and more), and Autopilot handles the rest with real-time trade execution directly in your account.

Key benefits include real-time trade syncing, SEC-registered investment adviser status, and transparent performance history for every Pilot. Mix and match strategies to build your ideal portfolio, pause or rebalance anytime, and keep your money in your own brokerage. Pilots span Expert, AI, Thematic, Hedge Fund Trackers, and Politician Trackers, with new pilots added weekly.

User Reviews

Overall, users recognize the concept of a platform for automated, guided trades based on public portfolios, with some reporting strong results when it works. However, the majority of reviews center on reliability and cost issues. Recurrent problems include frequent disconnections from brokerages causing missed trades; automation that isn’t truly hands-free and can require slow, manual approvals; a high-fee/paywall pricing model that deters smaller accounts; persistent bugs, freezes, and slow execution; and uneven broker integrations (notably Fidelity, Schwab, Webull) with Beta statuses that complicate setup and transfers. The product has potential but reliability and pricing are critical blockers.
Pros
  • Automated, guided-trading concept based on following curated portfolios.
  • Some users report strong returns on certain portfolios.
  • Broad selection of portfolios to follow (e.g., Pelosi, Cramer, Republican) offering variety.
  • Some users report responsive support and ongoing development.
Cons
  • Frequent disconnections from brokerage accounts causing missed trades.
  • Automation is not truly hands-free and often requires manual approval, leading to delays.
  • High fees and paywall structure, with quarterly charges and fees to view/track trades.
  • Persistent bugs, freezes, and slow performance that prevent trades from executing.
  • Broker integration issues and beta status (notably with Fidelity/Schwab) and difficulty switching brokerages.

Don’t waste your money.. invested over 10k in two portfolios and it the app made me $53.00 in 6 weeks. Each portfolio requires you spend up hundreds of dollars to auto trade as well.

I get that this is an investing app that revolves around money but the minute they started showing pilots I have to subscript to and pay MORE MONEY on top of my autopilot subscription price to follow, they became disconnected from reality. Combine that with it constantly disconnecting from my Robinhood so it doesn't do important trades in a timely manner.
