Everything really shouldn't be a subscription, your current customers shouldn't be expected to support your ongoing dev costs, flat fee or I'm out, yall know the majority of your money comes from hobbyists who forget to unsub 1 year is 80$ btw, after that you have to resub, most software lets you keep the version you have without updates if you pay for a year
