There's no reason it would need to connect to anything other than bluetooth. The good news is you don't actually need the camera. It's just as effective as any ear cleaner. I'm a little disappointed in myself I didn't do more research before I bought the thing. It was just one of the first ones that popped up on amazon. Oh well
