User Reviews

Weightlifting.ai offers dynamic, Olympic‑weightlifting‑specific programming that adapts lift‑by‑lift and week‑by‑week, plus flexible scheduling and a supportive community. Many users call it valuable relative to coaching and note clear lift‑rating feedback. Recurring drawbacks include billing/sign‑up friction, signup failures and app crashes, bugs and opaque programming rationale, slow or inconsistent customer support, and a limited upfront onboarding experience with infrequent updates.
Pros
  • Dynamic, lift-by-lift and week-by-week programming that adapts to performance and daily readiness (RIR-based feedback).
  • Flexible scheduling that adjusts workouts to match the days you can train while maintaining volume and intensity.
  • Good value compared with one-on-one coaching and a strong sense of community support.
  • Olympic weightlifting–specific focus with clear progressions and lift-rating feedback.
  • Active community and coaching presence (form checks, discussions) that helps solo lifters stay motivated.
Cons
  • Billing/paywall and signup issues—charges before you can see the program, plus friction getting past the subscription/paywall.

Wants to charge you $50/month and doesn’t give you even a taste of the program. No free trial or anything

Since the release of the app I’ve used it on and off a few times. The updates over the years have made it an improved app to use if your schedule varies. It’s not 100% perfect, but for the price compared to one on one coaching, it’s tough to beat.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this app is so awesome I had to! I have been training for a long time and this is by far the best tool I have ever used for programming. I get to pick my focus and it adapts lift by lift, week by week, program by program. I highly recommend it!
